Experience

Mr. Dreitzler has over 25 years of experience working on all phases of site development, municipal, water, sewer, roadway, environmental and solid waste engineering projects.  Mr. Dreitzler’s municipal/environmental experience ranges from inflow/infiltration evaluations, water and sewer extensions, utility infrastructure evaluations, system modeling, pump stations, annexations, development of town construction standards, town ordinance evaluations, stormwater management, zoning, water/sewer rate evaluations, inter-municipal contracts, and assistance with grant agencies including the North Carolina Rural Center, USDA, EDA, CDBG and the North Carolina Gold Leaf Foundation.  Mr. Dreitzler also has experience in the transportation industry providing engineering services for numerous transportation projects.  His experience includes transportation master planning, roadway design, and traffic impact analysis.  In addition, Mr. Dreitzler has provided construction administration services to clients for municipal engineering, solid waste, and transportation projects.

 

His solid waste experience includes comprehensive solid waste management studies, landfill and transfer station site selection, site application studies, and landfill and transfer station design and permitting. He has also been involved with waste stream analyses, waste characterization and evaluation of solid waste management programs.  Mr. Dreitzler was also a partner with Riegel Ridge, LLC, a private development company that obtained a franchise agreement for a Regional MSW Landfill in Columbus County, North Carolina.  His company worked under a development agreement with a major private waste company for design and permitting of the Riegel Ridge site.  His experiences as owner, developer and engineer give him a unique perspective on the development of solid waste projects.

His development experience includes preliminary site due diligence, design, permitting, and construction administration for single-family residential, multi-family residential, commercial, industrial, retail and restaurant projects.  He is a Partner in DM Development, LLC which was formed in 1992 and developed both residential and commercial projects.  Mr. Dreitzler’s development experience as both an engineer and an owner gives him a balanced perspective that keeps projects on schedule and on budget.
